  2. HACKINTOSH - Guia completo para transformar seu netbook ASUS eeePC 1005HA em um MAC

    Fala aí galera, criei um guia completo de como transformar um netbook ASUS eeePC 1005HA (talvez outros modelos de eeePC) em um Hackintosh rodando o Mac OS 10.6.8.

    O guia está em inglês pois fiz primeiramente para postar em um fórum especializado em hackintosh.

    Caso interesse alguém, aí estão os passos!!

    Download the .zip file on my server that contains:

    - rtf file with step by step installation
    - Folders with all the files used
    - OSX86_ModUSB.pkg
    - 10.6.8 update bundle

    I recommend donwloading the Complete.Hackintosh.Guide.zip file, thas contain all the files nedded (including the 10.6.8 update bundle), but you can download file-by-file.

    (Steps 2 to 7 are inside Other.Files.zip)


    INSTALLATION GUIDE:

    YOU’LL NEED THE IMAGE (DMG) FILE OF MAC OS X 10.6.0 RETAIL TO ACOMPLISH THIS INSTALLATION:

    Pre-installation (BIOS setup)

    Boot into the BIOS.
    (Boot the EeePC. When you see the first window with the big Asus EeePC logo, press F2 key. You will be in the BIOS.)

    Choose the following settings:

    Advanced -->
    IDE Configuration -->
    ATA/IDE Configuration [Enhanced]
    Configure SATA as [AHCI]

    CPU Configuration -->
    Max CPUID Value Limit [Disabled]

    F10 to exit and save configuration changes.

    Installation

    Create USB Thumb Drive Installer using Nawcom's ModUSB (on the package).

    Install OSX 10.6.0 using your USB Thumb Drive Installer:
    When in the main installer window, use Disk Utilities to format the Hard Drive to GUID. Then continue the installation.
    Restart.

    Boot into the newly installed Mac OSX using the Thumb Drive (press the "esc" key at boot, select the thumb drive), When in the Chameleon Bootloader Screen press any key, then select your new OS. You should boot into your new OS.

    Update to v10.6.8

    Step 1: Update:

    - Open Mac.OSX.10.6.8.Update.dmg and INSTALL the .pkg file. 

    DO NOT RESTART WHEN ASKED!!

    Step 2: Install Kernel Update 10.6.8.pkg.

    NOW REBOOT!

    Step 3: Copy all FILES inside"Move to Extra" folder (not the folder itself) to the "Extra" folder on your HD (path > /YourHD/Extra/)


    Step 4: Copy Kext Wizard app to yourApplications folder.


    Step 5: Replace Apple80211Monitor.bundle (Yellow):

    - Go To - System / Library / SystemConfiguration
    - Find the old file and DELETE IT --> Copy the new one to the folder.


    Step 6: Install Kexts (Blue) with Kext Wizard:

    - On Installation menu, drag and drop to the white area all Kexts (labed blue);
    - On Destination, select System/Library/Extensions, and INSTALL.

    - On Maintenance menu, check System/Library/Extensions > check Repair permissions, and EXECUTE.


    Step 7: Install VoodooHDA.prefPane (Green).

    REBOOT!

    What should be working:

    - Wireless (setup on Network Settings)
    - Sleep / Wake
    - 1024x600 Display
    - Fn Keyboard Keys


    Step 8: Run Software Update and download newest updates.

    You're Good to Go!
    Enjoy your Asus eeePC 1005HA Snow Leopard 10.8.6 Hackintosh

  4. Pasta Sharing Sumiu!

    Olá galera do MacMagazine....

    Tô precisando de ajuda! Outro dia fui compartilhar minha net via Mac, e quando fui procurar a pasta SHARING no SYSTEM PREFERENCE, vi que ela tinha sumido!! Tô usando o Mac OS X 10.5.6, e não fiz nada diferente pra isso acontecer...

    Se alguem tiver alguma ideia do que pode ter acontecido, me esclareçam aih!

  6. Dúvida Backup iPhone

    Pessoal, não estou conseguindo sanar esta dúvida pela net, então desculpem se for banal...

    Estou com um iPhone 2G de um tio, com a missão de atualizar seu jailbreak (ainda está na versão 1.x.x). Já achei um tutorial bom de como usar o Quickpwn, minha única dúvida é a seguinte: O backup que o iTunes faz qnd eu peço para restaurar o iPhone é seguro? Tipo, assim que eu instalar o novo firmware os dados que meu tio tem ficarão salvos???

    Só espero por uma confirmação!

  9. Melhor forma de gravar dvd

    Sempre sofri com isso, e por muito tempo gravei DVDs usando um windows XP virtual, com o programa ConvertXtoDVD, ateh hj nao achei nada melhor, mas outro dia descobri que o Toast Titanium 8 embuti a legenda no filme! é bem simples, deixe o arquivo .avi e o .srt com o mesmo nome e na mesma pasta, depois coloque o arquivo .avi para gravar no Toast (apenas o .avi, nao adicione o .srt) em DVD-video. Pronto! enquanto ele converte o .avi pra dvd, ele automaticamente embuti a legenda. Fica muito bom, o unico problema eh que a conversao demoooora muito.

    Agora que o colega falou, vou testar esse Submerge...
